Locations and dates for the upcoming Basketball Free Throw Competition (specifically the Regional and State Locations/Dates) have been set.

If you are going to participate in the Basketball Free Throw Competition, the State Program Director Tex Shellhart recommends you have this scheduled to be completed during the month of January. This local (council) competition should be open to all parishioners and the community as per the age guidelines. Only the winners from the local event will compete in the District Competition.  In the event, the winner is not available, the runner up may advance. Please work with your District Deputy to get information regarding the location and time for the District Level competition.  Your District Deputies will provide medals for the District winners.   

Winners from the District will move on to compete at Regionals (and again, if the winner is not available, the runner up may advance).  Finally, only the Regional winners will advance to the State, in the event the Regional winner cannot compete, the runner up may advance.

Basketball Free Throw Competition:

Regional Competitions are divided by Diocese.  

Memphis Diocese = West TN Region
Nashville Diocese = Middle TN Region
Knoxville Diocese = East TN Region

West TN Basketball Regional:
